Session is a metric which is used to determine a time duration spent by a web visitor to interact with the website. The default session time of Google is 30 minutes. There is no specific duration of time to define a session. If a user visits a website and explores different pages for 40 minutes, it can be said that the user’s session time is 40 minutes.
